FINANCIAL AID POLICY (More Info…)
SoccerTech FINANCIAL AID POLICY
SoccerTech is a club for all players. If your family requires financial support to register, please follow the policy below exactly.
- Register your child at KidSport Calgary BEFORE registering with SoccerTech. Please ignore their note that “Children must be registered in the sport program you are applying for before submitting your application”.
- Record the file number that KidSport Calgary has associated with our registration. You will need this file number in the PowerUp registration later on.
- Return to our portal: SoccerTech PowerUp Portal to register your child in our club.
- In the Basket, please ensure to check the option “Pay in full”. Neither KidSport pays in instalments.
- Once you get to the payment section (after the waiver), please insert the KidSport registration number in the required payment field.
- KidSport are considered 5PAY as we will not see their payment for weeks and months.
- Update us immediately via email at info@soccertech.ca once you receive the confirmation of your grant.
- KidSport will direct deposit to us, we will send you a receipt once we receive payment. If either of them told you that they will send us a cheque, there is a chance the registration procedure was not followed.
- Should you be declined, please contact us and we will work with you; we want all children to have a chance to play.
Please note: if you register your child and pay in full BEFORE completing your KidSport application, then we will NOT be able to apply financial support to the purchase. Registering your child and paying in full in order to receive the 1PAY discount will exclude you from Financial Aid.
In the case that this funding should not be enough to cover the need, please contact our office at info@soccertech.ca to see what SoccerTech can offer to assist.
PAYMENT PLAN (More Info…)
1PAY vs 5PAY – we do realize that times are not easy for parents and that many will not have access to financial assistance. For this situation, we have developed a SoccerTech 5PAY PLAN, which divides the fees into a payment schedule – we want everyone to be able to play. Additional fees through our merchants are reflected in this option.
Payment dates are set for original day of registration, and every 21 days after that. The larger the Program price, the larger the payment plan to make it feasible. 1PAY Plans will automatically have a $50 discount applied at Check Out to reflect the posted Program price.
KidSport is considered 5PAY.
